what to expect

Our desire at Westside is to provide the context for connecting with God and with others in community. Our Sunday morning gatherings seek to serve as one of these connection points. The environment is casual and usually includes singing, prayer, communion and Bible teaching from 10:00am - 11:30am. We have nursery care available for young children, and we have church available for children up to age 12 and Jr. & Sr. High students. We also encourage you to keep your children in the service if you desire, children are an important part of our community, and we welcome them with Jesus!

We encourage you to come as you are and dress however you feel comfortable, whether that is a suite and tie (which you will probably very rarely see) or a shirt and jeans (more common) or anything in between. We encourage you also to participate as you feel comfortable, whether that means singing and engaging in worship, or just observing from your seat, checking things out. We want you to be comfortable and our ultimate desire is that you connect in a real way with God and with our community. We’ll have coffee waiting for you at the door!
